Since 2014, members of Kiwanis International, Key Club International, Circle K International, and Builders Clubs have been hosting numerous fundraising events in support of AIDSPIRIT USA and our Tender Mercies home for orphaned, abandoned, and abused children in the Kayunga District of Uganda. The projects include but are not limited to the following:
Sponsoring the ongoing education of multiple vulnerable children,
Drilling new or restoring old, abandoned water wells,
Building a security wall around the Tender Mercies Home,
Purchasing mosquito nets, mattresses, clothing, and other items,
Building a covered patio for the children to study and play,
Purchasing medicine for children with Sickle Cell Anemia,
Helping Tender Mercies to attain agricultural sustainability, etc.
Several Kiwanis and Key Club members have traveled with the
AIDSPIRIT team to see firsthand the results of their fundraising efforts.
